Mission

Why we do what we do...

Love is such a valuable commodity. It is vital, not only to receive it but to express it. Animals make it very easy for us to express love. The relationship is refreshingly simple. There is never a need to moderate our feelings for fear of being taken advantage of, or because we mistrust their intentions. Dogs love us as much as we love them. Having dogs in our lives is a genuine force for good. Sadly not every dog has a happy life so here at Yass Dogs we want to help excellent dog charities, those on the front line of saving abused and neglected dogs, with their fundraising efforts. This is why 100% of profits goes to dog charities. We currently support the four charities below but this will change over time. As we get bigger, so does our ability to help more charities. As well as donating profits to these four charities we will also run campaigns for each of them individually. If you wish to be kept informed about those campaigns and our general good news, please join our community.

  • HAPPY DOGGO

Their mission is to solve the street dog problem worldwide. They work with many other charities, including the Soi Dog Foundation. Although sterilization is one solution, Niall Harbison and his wonderful team also help the street dogs of Koh Samui and around South East Asia in many other ways.

  • The Asher House

Set up by an angel, Lee Asher, they rescue animals that have been discarded or unwanted, providing them with a life of comfort, love and adventure.

For over two years, Lee traveled across 49 states to promote dog adoption and spotlight various shelters and rescues. In 2020 he found some land where he could fulfill his lifelong dream of creating a sanctuary. Rather than be the end result, the sanctuary is just the beginning and we want to support Lee and his team as much as we can.

  • Soi Dog Foundation

Every year, Soi Dog spays/neuters and vaccinates tens of thousands of stray dogs and cats throughout Thailand. Spay/neuter is the only proven, sustainable and humane method of reducing the stray animal population.
Soi Dog also campaigns for an improvement in animal welfare rights across Asia, and helps animals affected by natural disasters.

  • Battersea Dogs & Cats home

Battersea are an amazing animal charity. They have been established since 1860 (yes, really). They do so much more than just rescuing and rehoming animals and their reach extends internationally now and not just the UK. A really beautiful charity.
